More about me

Years ago, I worked as a graphic designer, immersed in a world of colors, fonts, and layouts. It was a rewarding career, but something deep within me always yearned for more—something that felt more connected to the earth and aligned with my values. When I became a mother, that longing intensified. At 52, I made the life-changing decision to leave my career behind and focus on raising my family full-time.

As I embraced this new chapter, I found solace and joy in the simple, grounding work of gardening. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a passion. I began cultivating my own roots and seeds, experimenting with plants, and learning about sustainable practices that could nourish both the land and my family. It was as if I had uncovered a part of myself that had been waiting to emerge.

Now, as a gardener, I sell roots and seeds, sharing the fruits of my labor with others. It’s not just about growing food—it’s about nurturing life, connecting with nature, and offering others the chance to cultivate something real and meaningful in their own lives. This journey has been more than a career change; it’s a return to my roots, literally and figuratively, and a reminder of the power we all have to create, grow, and nurture. Lora
